According to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services beginning April 26th, 2021 it is required for our program to make a good faith effort to ensure children ages 2-4 wear a mask when participating in gatherings.

Once we receive notice that the pandemic has ended by the State of Michigan we will no longer require children to wear masks, If you would like your child to wear a mask, you will have to provide one for them.

As the pandemic is coming to an end our open door policy will be changing soon. We will begin with opening our Lobby for parents to wait inside, then we will open our doors fully welcoming in our families to drop off and pick up in the classroom! As the pandemic is coming to an end our open door policy will be changing soon. We will begin with opening our Lobby for parents to wait inside, then we will open our doors fully welcoming in our families to drop off and pick up in the classroom! Our Mask policy will change as well. After the pandemic ends we will no longer require our students to wear masks in the classroom. If you would like your child to wear a mask you will have to provide them.

While we are not mandating that all staff are fully vaccinated for Covid-19 we STRONGLY encourage it. Sunnyside Enrichment Center will offer referrals to persons who would like to become vaccinated upon request and availability.

If you or your child were possibly exposed you are to notify Mrs.Robinson immediately via class dojo.
During days 1-10 following exposure:
1. Watch for symptoms, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other COVID-19 symptoms.
2. If no symptoms develop at least 5 days after exposure, get tested. Child may return after 5 days with a negative covid PCR.
